Pippa Middleton Gets TV Show

(CNN) The people who brought you Sarah Palin's life as a reality show, and "Jon & Kate Plus Eight," are introducing a few new offerings that cover religion, marijunana and a hot, royal sister-in-law.

The Discovery Channel, parent company of TLC, has announced three new projects: "All American Muslim," "Weed Wars," and "Crazy about Pippa."

The first two will be docu-series on the network this fall, while the third is a one hour special set to air in August.

"All American Muslim" is an eight-part series premiering in November that TLC says in a press release "delves deep inside the rarely seen world of Muslim Americans to uncover unique insight into this little known community."

The show will be set in Dearborn, Michigan, which is the location of the largest mosque in the United States.

“'All American Muslim' is a perfect fit for TLC, inviting viewers into a world they might not otherwise experience,” Amy Winter, general manager of TLC, said in a statement. “Through these families and their diverse experiences, we will explore how they blend their values and traditions with everyday life in America.”

"Weed Wars" looks at life at Oakland’s Harborside Health Center, the nation’s largest medicinal cannabis dispensary serving over 80,000 patients out of their location in Oakland, California. The facility grows, distributes and champions the use of medical marijuana under the leadership of founder and executive director Steve DeAngelo.

"'Weed Wars' fearlessly pulls back the curtain on a still controversial world," Nancy Daniels, executive vice president of production and development for Discovery Channel, said in a press release. "From the inner workings of the business to Steve’s distinctive leadership style, 'Weed Wars' is a fascinating glimpse into this highly unique setting."

"Weed Wars" will debut this fall on The Discovery Channel. "Crazy about Pippa" will focus on the life of the woman Prince Harry reportedly referred to as a "foxy filly" - it's Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton's younger sister , Pippa Middleton.

She grabbed her fair share of the spotlight this summer when her sister married Prince William, and now she'll get an entire hour devoted to her on TLC. The show airs August 9.
