Barisan Nasional Wins Tenang
The Grand Dame Barisan Nasional has proven her resilience at yesterday's Tenang By election where BN won with a large majority. I'm very happy to hear this as i firmly believe that an opposition party such as PAS is absolutely irrelevant and highly fanatical for Malaysia. We do not need Hudud pillow cases walking around promoting narrow mindedness, ultra conservatism in the name of religion. Looking at the results, it seems clear that the Malays have returned to BN and there is a significant improvement in Chinese support for the BN. The 60% voter turnout is highly due to the floods and the possibility of some left in a limbo not knowing who to vote. In short, the people are fedup with the politicking within the opposition alliance since the 2008 General Elections while BN has gained momentum.
