Tun Datin Paduka Seri Endon Mahmood, Malaysia's Former First Lady.

It's 6 years since the passing of Tun Datin Paduka Seri Endon Mahmood. I had the opportunity to meet this lovely lady after The Operetta 'Merry Widow' at Istana Budaya that i sang in.

Despite her pain and weaken knees due to radiotheraphy she met us one by one, spoke to us and shook hands with the entire cast. This is the same special woman who's contribution to this nation, in particular, The Performing Arts & the establishment of KLPAC, not forgetting her graceful presence in the news gave my Late Mother the Courage & Hope in her Battle with Cancer. Both battled cancer at the same time and Mum looked up at her & was absolutely shaken on the Morning of Endon's passing which we heard on the radio, Mum jumped up from bed in total devastation! Endon passed on about one and a half years before Mummy's death.
