Dr Pornthip Rojanasunan will testify

I'm Glad! And I do hope that no one in power will interfere or threaten!
KUALA LUMPUR: Thai forensic pathologist Dr Pornthip Rojanasunan will testify at the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Teoh Beng Hock's death.

Commission secretary Datuk Saripuddin Kasim said they were currently discussing with Dr Pornthip for suitable dates to enable her to attend proceedings.Saripuddin said, in a statement, that they were also trying to contact British forensic pathologist Prof Dr Peter Vanezis with the help of the Malaysian High Commission in London.

Dr Pornthip and Dr Vanezis, who had testified in the inquest which was previously held to ascertain the circumstances leading to Teoh's death, were not in the initial RCI's witness list. Dr. Pornthip, who was appointed by the Selangor state government, had told the inquest that there were pre-fall injuries on Teoh's neck, while Dr Vanezis, who was appointed by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, had ruled out murder. The commission will also be calling several other witnesses suggested by the Bar Council.
