Sir Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj ibni Almarhum Sultan Abdul Hamid Halim Shah

Sir Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj ibni Almarhum Sultan Abdul Hamid Halim Shah is Malaysia's Founding Father, First Prime Minister and Prince of Kedah, Sir Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj who parted from his Royal protocol and family to win independence for Malaya, this great man is whom my grandparents and parents spoke very fondly off, many Malaysians from that generation knew him in person as he never stuck to royal and political high profile protocol. He was with the people, he was comfortable with the people and he lived for the people.

Sir Tunku Abdul Rahman may have not been favoured by his own race due to some issues pertaining to the Malay Race. However, The Chinese, Indians, Eurasians, Sabahans & Sarawakians found Malays' disagreement with Sir Tunku baseless in every sense of the word.

In 1961, Tunku Abdul Rahman was appointed to the Order of the Companions of Honour (CH) by Queen Elizabeth II, and was appointed an Honorary Companion of the Order of Australia in 1987.

You see, this great man of calibre, elegance, poise and intelligence, read law while serving Malaya as Founding Father and Prime Minister. He lived the lifestyle of an English Barrister, he drank the finest liquor and socialized as an English Barrister would. He was certainly a man of class. I must say that he was the chosen one from his race who could mingle with the English due to his impeccable English, socializing, dinning and drinking. No other man of his race could have achieved Independence for Malaya at that point in time. Sir Tunku carried himself and lived as an English Man, hence his public relations with the English was smooth sailing, he could conquer all issues with the English while multitasking numerous responsibilities naturally.

His love for liquor never brought down his moral values, infact he achieved personal success and success for Independent Malaya, something that his race could have never dreamt of doing simply because they were not fit to mingle with the English governors and authorities of British Malaya. He was a man of extreme intelligence and success while maintaining his love for liquor. His race didn't have a major issue with his drinking eventhough he did it in the open and never once did he ever smack of hypocrisy like some leaders of today.

Today, we see that drinking Muslims face canning and mocking while their morality becomes a big issue, their morality is thrown in the gutter and they are runned down by their political opponents and community. This explains the backwardness of their mentality as a good majority of them remain rather unexposed. In the past, during pre and post independence until the late 60s, one could never differentiate race and religion. There existed Cabaret and Strip Clubs in the open and there was no such thing as Police or Islamic Raids. The Malays back then weren't conservative in culture, religion and dressing as today. Strange but true.

A Clear Thinking person would agree with me that Sir Tunku's whole package gained independence for Malaya. Even his good friend who is Malaysia's Legendary Actor, Tan Sri P.Ramlee openly drank liquor, drank even in his movies! and so did his illustrious and legendary actress wife, Puan Sri Saloma! This is Malaysia's History, our top leaders and celebrities at that time lived their chosen lifestyles without any restrictions of culture, religion and society. And mind you, these Muslims were more productive and intelligent than what we have today. And kindly take note, these Muslims of the Tunku's time were loved, respected and clean compare to the ones we have today and they will always be cherished.

It's time the government educates her race that what matters most in life is personal productivity and contributions to Malaysia. This is the reason why the Chinese are highly successful in anything they embark on because they don't spend their entire lives moral policing other people's lives, bedrooms and cars. As the world rapidly evolves, this community favours backward thinking and backwardness in every form of the word. This backwardness and growing sense of strict islamisation in Malaysia is pulling the country down to the gutter!
